Boeing has raised production of the 767, from 1.5 to two aircraft per month. There are plans to increase output again, to 2.5 aircraft per month (30 aircraft a year), during 2017. The production ramp-up reflects the spike in orders for the 767 during 2015, which included a major commitment for 50 additional 767-300Fs from FedEx. That company placed a follow-on order for seven aircraft in June. In total, the 767 has now gained more than 1,100 orders.
