The Republic of Korea's KT-100 primary trainer prototype made its maiden flight from Sacheon, southeast of Seoul in early October, according to manufacturer Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). Verification testing of the KT-100, a military version of the KC-100 Naraon light aircraft, is under way to ensure the systems meet the requirements of the Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF). Twenty-three KT-100s are expected to be in RoKAF service by the end of 2016.
