South African Airways (SAA) received the first of six new Airbus A330-200s on February 7 at a ceremony at Airbus's headquarters in Toulouse, France. The aircraft (A330-243 ZS-SXZ, msn 1191, ex F-WWKL) was flown to South Africa the following day, where it was welcomed by the country s president Jacob Zuma at Cape Town International Airport. Mr Zuma said the new aircraft were "set to change and improve the way we fly". SAA is leasing six A330-200s from AirCastle as part of its fleet modernisation programme.
