This year's Combined Joint Personnel Recovery Standardization Course (CJPRSC 2011) organised by the European Air Group took place at Albacete Air Base in Spain between October 13 and 30. The objective of the course was to improve the cooperation and standardisation of combat search and rescue missions at the international level and enhance the ability to plan and conduct a 'personnel recovery" mission in a hostile and non-permissive environment as part of a COMAO (Combined Air Operation). This year's course saw the participation of special operation units from the armed forces of France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden, with a total of 13 helicopters and five aircraft.
