Cassidian Espana handed over the 300th EF2000 Typhoon built by the Eurofighter consortium on October 18 at Getafe. The combat aircraft (C16-48/'ll-28', build number SS029) was accepted by the Ejercito del Aire (Spanish Air Force) as the 27th single-seater for the service, all of which serve with Ala 11 at Moron Air Base, Seville. The first Typhoons for Ala 14 are due to arrive at Albacete Air Base next year in order to begin the withdrawal of the Spanish Mirage Fl fleet.
