TWELVE ADDITIONAL HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopters (CRHs) are to be supplied to the US Air Force. The HH-60W is an all-new helicopter based on the UH-60M Black Hawk, customised for the US Air Force combat search and rescue (CSAR) mission. The Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot II contract follows LRIP Lot I for ten helicopters awarded last year with the Milestone C decision in September 2019 to move the CRH programme to its next stage.
