The first two Boeing 737 Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) were delivered to RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales on November 26. A ceremony was held at the base to mark the event, attended by officials from the RAAF, the Defence Materiel Organisation (DM0) and the manufacturer.rnFrom January the two aircraft will be used to begin the process of training flight, mission and maintenance crews, which will also involve the Operational Flight Trainer, Operational Mission Simulator and Mission Support System already delivered and installed at Williamtown.
