An arrival ceremony was held at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii on July 9 to welcome the Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor to the islands. The first of 20 examples of the aircraft landed at the base on July 4, and was joined by a second for the event. F-22A Block 20s 03-4045 and 03-4046 (both carrying 'HH' tailcodes) previously served with the 43rd Fighter Squadron (FS), 325th Wing at Tyndall AFB, Florida, but will initially serve at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam as maintenance trainers.
