Aviation Link Co, an aircraft management company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has taken delivery of Boeing 777-2KQLR VP-CAL (c 40753, ex N5028Y) that will be outfitted with a VIP cabin. The hand-over was announced by Boeing Business Jets on November 10, although the aircraft itself was delivered six days earlier to Basel Airport in Switzerland. At Basel AMAC Aerospace will complete its interior, prior to it being handed over to an undisclosed private operator based in the Middle East during 2012. The New Zealand Defence White Paper 2010 released on November 2 included details by the government to purchase three additional AgustaWestland A109 Light Utility Helicopters. Five were originally ordered for the Royal New Zealand Air Force in May 2008 and all are due to be in service by 2012.
