Mig aviation 3 Ltd, a subsidiary of the Marfin Investment Group Holdings SA of Greece, ordered three Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s and fivernQ400 NextGen turboprops on June 16. Options were also taken on eight additional Q400 NextGens. The deal is worth $224 million (£140 million) at list prices, and will rise to $468 million (£293 million) if all the options are exercised. The airliners will be operated by Pantheon Airways under the Olympic Air brandname. Pantheon Airways acquired certain assets of Olympic Airlines and Olympic Airways from the Government of Greece in March this year (see Olympic Sold to Marfin, May, p12), after many years trying to sell it.
