Since its formation in 1971 by a small group of enthusiastic artists, the Guild has steadily evolved to today's membership level, which is approaching 500. In this year's Guild of Aviation Artists exhibition, no fewer than 405 original new works were accepted for display by the selection panel of five of the most senior Guild members.
