The first Boeing F-15SG Eagle for the Republicof Singapore Air Force, was officially rolled out on November 3. The aircraft completed a 90 minute maiden flight from Lambert International Airport in St Louis, Missouri, on September 16. It will be used for a one-year flight-test programme at St Louis and Palmdale, California. Deliveries of F-15SGs will start in June 2009 and all 24 will be handed over by the end of 2012. Initial deliveries will be to the 428th Fighter Squadron at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, which will act as a training unit to convert Singaporean pilots and weapon systems operators to the aircraft.
