LOCKHEED MARTIN has released the first photograph of an Indian Navy Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk in full colours. The picture showing the helicopter, wearing serial number IN751 and Indian roundels, painted in an overall grey colour scheme, was released on December 4 to coincide with Indian Navy Day 2020. India had selected the S-70B Seahawk in 2014 - also on December 4 - to replace its elderly Sea King fleet. It later decided to order 24 MH-60Rs instead through the Foreign Military Sales process. On April 2, 2019, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced that the sale had been approved by the US State Department.
