Boeing and Singapore's Ministry of Defence (MinDef) signed a contract on October 22 for the purchase of an additional 12 F-15SG fighters for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). The deal comprised exercising of existing outstanding options on eight aircraft from the original contract, plus four new orders. The eight options were taken out as part of the initial order for 12 F-15SGS placed in December 2005 (see Military News, January 2006, p11).
