L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) now offer a "pioneering" degree combining academic study and professional pilot training. Students will graduate with an Air Transport Pilot Licence alongside a UCLan BSc (Hons) degree in aviation. The new course begins in September 2021. Satisfying Civil Aviation Authority and European Union Aviation Safety Agency requirements and regulations, the course will be taught at L3Harris' facilities in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, and the London Training Centre (LTC) in Crawley, Sussex.
