On December 3 the first two PZL Mielec-built Sikorsky S-70i International Black Hawks were officially handed over to the Royal Brunei Air Force during the Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition at the BRIDEX International Conference Centre at Jerudong. At the same time a further pair were completing acceptance procedures before being taken into service. The initial four S-70is arrived in Brunei on November 27 onboard an Antonov An-124 transport from Sikorsky's Black Hawk completion centre in West Palm Beach, Florida. Twelve S-70is were ordered in November 2011 (see Black Hawks for Brunei, January 2012, p25) and options placed for an additional ten. All 12 will be delivered by the end of 2014.
