The Indian Air Force's fleet of HAL Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) was cleared to return to flight status on August 27, following completion of a fleet-wide inspection of the helicopter's flight control systems. The service's 40 Dhruvs were grounded after one from 111 Squadron crasned at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh on July 25. A problem with the four-axis flight control system is thought to have been the cause.
