Rega's alert centre, responsible for mission control and receiving calk for emergency assistance, is located on the top floor of Rega's office at Zurich-Khten Airport. It has two areas, one dedicated to helicopter rescue operations and the other to air ambulance services for citizens injured outside Switzerland. The latter are repatriated using Rega's fleet of three Bombardier CL604 Challenger jets The helicopter dispatchers work 24-hour shifts, arranged around a large table with five workstations.
