British Airways (BA) has recently released service entry dates for the Airbus A380 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. BA expects to welcome its first 787 in May 2013, while the initial A380 will land at Heathrow in July 2013. Four 787s and three A380s will be in service by the end of 2013from the orders for 24(eight 787-8s and 16 787-9s) and 12 respectively. The A380s will replace Boeing 747400s in the fleet. The new type routes will be identified later this year.
