The recent publication of Storyteller, a biography of 20th century British writer Roald Dahl, has been welcomed by fans of such works as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach—classics of children's literature that adults love as well. In addition to his literary life, the biography details Dahl's short and violent career as a pilot in World War II.
