RON DAVIES, for 30 years a curator of air transport at the National Air and Space Museum (Air & Space Interview, Soundings, August 2011), died at age 90 on July 30 after a series of strokes. He had retired from NASM in February and moved home to Shaftsbury, England, in April, after finishing the book Airlines of the Jet Age: A History for Smithsonian Institution Scholarly Press.
