Collaborative decision making: ANSPs are helping airports become more efficient and effective through the sharing of information and processes
Airport collaborative decision making (A-CDM) is an optimized operational concept that concerns people and operational processes. It is underpinned by the sharing of planning and actual flight data in the regional or global aviation network of which airports are the nodes. Many of the airports which have implemented A-CDM, particularly in Europe, have found that its introduction and use results in harmonization of air and ground processes across all air transport industry stakeholders, including the key stakeholder of air traffic management.
