Air France-KLM Group chairman and CEO Alexandre de Juniac will become the seventh IATA DG and CEO, taking up the post later this year when Tony Tyler retires. De Juniac was nominated after a unanimous recommendation by the IATA board of governors. His appointment is expected to be confirmed at the IATA AGM in Dublin in early June, although he is not expected to leave Air France-KLM until July 31. Once onboard with IATA, there will be a short handover period.
