Boeing surely hopes the process of manufacturing the 777X and the next-generation wide-body's entry into service goes more smoothly than tne process for deciding on a location to build the aircraft. Boeing launched the 777X program in November at the Dubai Air Show and announced the aircraft would enter service in 2020, but the manufacturer left open where the aircraft would be built.
