DHL intends to phase out most of its Boeing 727 freighters by the end of 2014 as part of an overall fleet renewal that will support its growth plans. DHL's network is served by 19 in-house and partner airlines, which operate a fleet of over 260 aircraft, including Airbus A300s, Boeing 727s, 737s, 747s, 757s, 767s and 777s. These aircraft perform more than 800 daily flights. In addition, DHL Express buys belly capacity on more than 2,500 flights per day from other airlines.
