Thailand's Nok Air took delivery of its first Q400 NextGen turboprop to be delivered in the new extra capacity seating configuration. The 86-seat variant was announced at least year's Dubai Airshow. The aircraft is part of Nok Air's purchase agreement for up to eight Q400 NextGen airliners. The extra capacity aircraft offers up to 14 more seats over previous internal configurations for the type. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft regional VP-Asia-Pacific sales Frank Baistrocchi said the extra capacity Q400 NextGen aircraft will make point-to-point regional air service more accessible to an increased number of travelers in the region.
