Turkish Airlines reported first-half net profit of TRY121 million ($60.7 million), down 29% compared to the year-ago period. The airline said the results were mainly due to currency translation differences and tax effects. Revenue rose 23% to TRY8.2 billion, producing an operating profit of TRY439 million, nearly doubled from TRY271 million in the year-ago period.
