AirAsia Japan, the joint venture between AirAsia and All Nippon Airways (ANA) has received its Air Operators' Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The new low-cost carrier, which will begin operations from August, will be based at Tokyo Narita. International services are scheduled to launch Oct. 1, From 2013, it plans to offer Airbus A330 services to Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
