Qualified workforce is crucial for aerospace and air transport. Though, future needs are huge and, for this exponentially growing industry, expectations are that some shortages of workforce could occur in certain areas. This paper discusses the prospects and how to try to mitigate the risk of running short of personnel for aviation, which might potentially have strong consequences on the world economy.
