摘要

The ANSI A92 standards establish criteria for the design, manufacture, testing, inspection, training, maintenance and operation of all types of aerial work platforms (AWPs) which provide temporary access to work at height. The standards define the applicable responsibilities for manufacturers, dealers, installers, owners, users and operators of the equipment. Airline ground support vehicle-mounted vertical lift devices are addressed in the ANSI A92.7 standard, initially issued in 1981. Like all ANSI standards, it must be reviewed every five years and issued or re-confirmed every 10 years.
