The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) recommended in a recent advisory opinion that FAA should reanalyze and address the noise effects of a controversial RNAV departure procedure out of LaGuardia Airport on homes listed on the National Register of Historic Places and should initiate a Section 106 consultation process under the National Historic Preservation Act.
