On March 30, Frankfurt Airport expanded its use ofrnsteeper satellite-supported precision landings to reducedrnnoise impact on nearby communities with the arrivals ofrnLufthansa Airbus 319 and Boeing 747-8 aircraft on the airport’srnsouthern and central runways.rnUntil now, such landings with increased approach anglesrnwere only possible on the Frankfurt Airport’s northwest runway.
