One Complaint Line Sought for JFK, LaGuardia Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) recently wrote the FAA and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey asking the federal and state agencies to clarify their jurisdiction regarding aircraft noise mitigation and to create a single toll-free noise complaint number so that residents under the flight paths for JFK International and LaGuardia airports can more easily file complaints.
