Gordon Cole is a man with a dream, one that has spanned more than two decades, When Cole acquired a Lockheed Constellation in 1983, it was his objective to totally restore and fly the aircraft to air shows around the US, He feels strongly that aviation heritage needs to be preserved and an airworthy 'Connie' would prove a valuable educational opportunity to show the public what early air travel was like, Coie has yet to realize his dream. However, despite the passage of time he remains undaunted in his quest.
