Flying nonstop from the Midwest to Las Vegas was a nice change from having to use connecting airports. Peoria Airport, although smaller, proved easy to cope with. I had made my reservation and purchased my ticket—at a very reasonable $79.00 each way—on Allegiant's website (www.allegiantair.com). The process was easy, but there is no opportunity for advance seat assignment. However, arriving at the airport early enough secured the '2' side of the 2-3 seating layout. There was no curbside check in, but the line moved quickly for what turned out to be a full flight. A courteous atmosphere is the first impression conveyed by the airline. At IMA you are able to walk across the ramp to the airplane, a refreshing change. The aircraft was clean and its leather seats very comfortable. Even the lavatory provided a window so that occupants would not miss the passing scenery.
