Opened in 2010 without a hitch (unlike Heathrow'sTerminalFive—Airways/pr// 2008), in culmination of a €600 million ($7.6 million) investment, Terminal 2 at Dublin International Airport is a visually striking complex of steel and glass that has transformed the Irish capital's airport. It is also the home and hub to Aer Lingus's extensive international operation (Airways, October 2011). Up to 15 million overseas travellers annually can now be processed in comfort at the modern, glass-sided structure at one of Europe's most westerly airports.
