摘要

One AA6xxx alloy with mainly α-AlFeSi-p articles and one with mainly β-AlFeSi-particles were produced in the laboratory by casting and homogenisation. The alloys were extruded in a laboratory pilot scale extrusion press to flat profiles. The intermetallic particles in the two profiles were compared, as were the tensile properties. Profiles with longβ-AlFeSi-particles were more brittle than profiles with round a-particles.
