摘要

In previous papers creep rupture data for aluminium alloys were evaluated. Requests from the European standardisation suggest that values for 100 000 h should be derived. It is the purpose of the present paper to provide these values. The extrapolation of the creep rupture strength is performed with four time-temperature parameters (TTP). The final result is computed as the average between the four TTPs, including only those with a correct physical behaviour. By using four TTPs it is possible to estimate the error in the extrapolated values as the maximum difference between the TTP methods. In spite of the fact that extended extrapolation is required to derive 100 000 h rupture strength values the different methods show in general consistent results indicating that these values can be used as approximate characteristic creep rupture strengths.
