摘要

The purpose of these investigations was to analyse the formation mechanisms of brittle and coarse giant intermetallic compounds in Al-Zn-Mg alloys such as the alloy 7N01. The average composition of this 7N01 aluminium alloy is (mass-%): 0.20 - 2.0 Mg; 4.0 - 5.0 Zn; < 0.20 Cu; < 0.30 Si; < 0.35% Fe; < 0,30 Cr; < 0,20 Ti and < 0.25 Zr.
