Kaiser Aluminum Corp. in mid-December announced that it has commenced a five-year, USD150 million capital investment project at its Trentwood rolling mill facility in Spokane, Washington. The company maintains that this is part of an ongoing investment programme, essentially to make the World War Ⅱ-era factory more competitive in a global marketplace. In addition to its overall fabrication facilities the corporation operates dedicated Centres for Excellence. The Spokane, Washington Centre specialist in rolling and heat-treatment employs more than 900 people.
