Sarginsons Industries, recently rated as one of the UK's top diecasting companies, reports that it is increasingly being approached to develop parts for electric vehicles, from self-driving cars through to buses and recycling trucks. What is striking about the enquiries, the Coventry, West Midlands-based company says, is the specific requirement for lightweight demands the need for hollow aluminium chassis components.
