Aleris has announced leadership changes as part of its transformation into a pure-play global aluminium rolled products company. Sean Stack, executive VP and CEO, Aleris North America, will continue to lead the company's NA business. Roeland Baan, executive VP and CEO of the Asia Pacific business, has been appointed executive VP and CEO, Aleris Europe. John Zhu, senior VP and president, Aleris Asia Pacific, will lead ail operations and commercial activities for the company's aerospace plate mill in Zhenjiang, China. Aleris' chief technology officer, Philippe Meyer, has been promoted to senior VP. He is responsible for R&D and process excellence, including five global innovation centres across NA, Europe and Asia Pacific. Ingo Kroepfl, VP, Global Aerospace, will, replace Johan Petry, who has been appointed VP, Europe Industrial.
