Danieli's Technology Forum last year was devoted to aluminium. The group presented its latest developments in the fields of rolling and processing of high-grade aluminium strip and sheet. Some of the plant components presented then were at the final assembly stage and have since been supplied to customers and commissioned. Numerous new orders confirm that the business of delivering production plants to the aluminium rolling industry has developed into a solid part of the Danieli Group. In a talk with our journal, Joerg Schroeder, managing director of Danieli Froehling and executive vice president of the Danieli Aluminium Strip Division, explained that Danieli is proceeding with its planned expansion of its product portfolio to include foil mills, branded as 'Diamond' Aluminium Foil Mills.
