In high pressure die casting, ducts for cooling or oil are traditionally realised by sliders or drilling afterwards. However, such cavities are bound to straight axes. With an innovative and highly stable solution from Drahtzug Stein Combicore, Germany, casting cores can also be applied in high pressure die casting for the first time.
