In February last year Sapa Group, Sweden, opened its Sapa Profile Jiangyin Co., Ltd, the group's first aluminium extrusions plant in China, which specialises in the development, manufacturing and distribution of value-added aluminium profiles. Its current business includes profiles for the industrial, solar as well as building and construction markets. The company is expanding into the middle and high-end markets, such as mass transportation (marine, rolling stock, etc.), heat sinks and automotive, and has capacity for casting, anodising, powder-coating and fabrication.
