Altek Europe Ltd has been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise - International Trade. Alan Peel, managing director of Altek Europe, commented: "This is a great moment for the company which we launched in 2007 to support the growth in aluminium production and recycling around the world. The company has a range of unique products that are recognised as world leading and are being used by hundreds of aluminium companies all over the world. The Altek team is small in its number of employees. However, the team here in the UK and our sub-contractors, as well as our strategic partners from all over the world have made this award possible. It is a great credit to the whole Altek team and their partners. We look forward to continuing our export growth and we are currently in the process of expanding our UK operations to support this initiative."
