In an earlier issue of this journal information has already been given about the renaming of the former Alcan Engineered Products to Constellium, owing to a change of the ownership situation. In 2010 the formerly independent business units Alcan Extruded Products and Alcan Automotive Structures were merged to form the business unit Extrusions and Automotive Structures (EAS).
