Ende Oktober haben Vertreter der kanadischen Aluminiumhtte Aluminerie Alouette und der Regierung von Quebec in Sept lies ein Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) unterzeichnet, das die wesentlichen Konditionen fr den Strombezug in den n?chsten Jahrzehnten regelt. Zum bestehenden Anschlusswert von 895 Megawatt steht knftig eine zus?tzliche elektrische Leistung von 500 Megawatt zur Verfgung (davon 35 MW sofort).%At the end of October, representatives of the Canadian aluminium smelter Aluminerie Alouette and of the Quebec Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Sept lies concerning the long-term supply of electric power to the smelter. The agreement fixes the key terms for purchasing electricity until 2041. One topic of the agreement is the prolongation of the electricity supply contracts for the existing plant until 2041 on the same terms. But even more important: over and above the current connected load of 895 MW, additional electrical power of 500 MW will then be available (35 MW of which immediately).
