Aluminium swarf is a valuable raw material. But what is the most cost-effective way of achieving the maximum recovery rate? To find out the answer to this, Ruf commissioned consulting engineer Dr. Urbach (IMR) to carry out a study. A series of tests were run which show that a total yield of around 99% is achievable through aluminium swarf briquetting and that the process also brings with it a range of other advantages.
