The worldwide adoption of aluminium in industrial and consumer applications may be about to surge, says Philip Martens, president and chief operating officer of Novelis, a global leader in aluminium rolled products and aluminium can recycling. Mr Martens was the keynote speaker at the Platts Aluminium Symposium 2010 held early in February.
